The event emphasized the importance of the production of written texts as a means of communication and creative expression.

San Andrés Cholula, Puebla.- For the first time after two years of lockdown, on June the 27th, the current issues of both English and Spanish literary anthologies were presented on-site at 12:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room A from our Instituto Mexicano Madero Highschool, Downtown campus.

This event was graced with the presence of several authorities, starting with the Campus Headmaster Dr. Pablo Tulio Silva Gómez, the Highschool Principal Laura E. Romero Franco, the Elementary School Principal Carolina Linares, the Preschool Principal Marina Cristales, the English Academy Coordinator Juan Manuel Molina Campos, the Spanish Academy Coordinator Silvia Josefina García Garrido, the Development of Thought Skills Academy Coordinator Sandra Colchado, as well as teachers and parents.

Firstly, the English Academy Coordinator Juan Manuel Molina gave some introductory words, emphasizing the importance of the production of written texts as a means of communication and creative expression. Secondly, the Spanish Academy Coordinator Silvia Garrido shared her words, recognizing the hard work of every young writer and congratulating teacher Cristina León Munguía for editing the Spanish Anthologies for ten years.

To commemorate the Tenth Edition of Young Writers in Spanish, which began in 2012, a video was shown with photographs of the previous presentations of the anthologies, depicting the evolution of the event.

After this, the Highschool Principal Laura Romero spoke about how the participation of the students has been increasing year after year, leading to the creation of the English version of the anthology two years later.

The event was conducted by teacher Cristina León Munguía in Spanish and teacher Nashely Morales Piza in English. Each and every young writer then shared a fragment of their texts, divided into four segments. The students who participated in the English Anthology issue were: Carlos Pérez Bello, Valeria Hernández Carrasco, Alejandra Cortés Tamayo, José Cinco Patrón Lara, Ana Galilea Guevara González, Elide Silva Montufar, Jocelyn Vázquez Ramírez, Evelyn Michelle Antúnez Garrido, Iliana Moreno Carmona, Aitana Pineda Rojas, Óscar Sánchez Vega, Esther Josefina Téllez Miranda, Dulce María Jiménez Ortega, Aarón Alejandro Figueroa Dávila, Ariadna Hernández Coyotl, Héctor López Hernández, Jonathan Hernández Olvera, Marcos Edwin Apan Munive, Ana Karen Valerio Santiago, José Diego Martínez Hernández, Ariadna Vargas Ruiz, Héctor Valencia Martell.

The cover illustration was designed by Ariadna Vázquez Ruiz. The students who helped illustrate some of the text of the present anthology were Jorge Nava Vázquez, Gahel Montiel Romero, Óscar Sánchez Vega, and Alejandra Cortés Tamayo. The writers who participated during the three years of Highschool were: Carlos Pérez Bello, Óscar Sánchez Vega, Esther Josefina Téllez Miranda, Dulce María Jiménez Ortega, José Diego Martínez Hernández, Ariadna Vargas Ruiz, Héctor Valencia Martell. At the end of the event, awards were given to all the writers and illustrators.
